This year, 25 awards will be presented on May 8th, 2025, covering main categories including Software, Large & Wide Format Printing, Commercial Printing, Packaging Printing, Specialty Printing, Finishing & Embellishment Solutions, Automation & Quality Control, and Inks & Substrates. The companies below have been recognized across the proposed EDP categories.
The EDP Awards 2025 reflect the latest technological advancements and trends in digital printing. As digital printing evolves, automation and software innovations are increasingly overshadowing hardware advancements. This shift is a natural progression within an industry in a digital transformation. Driven by AI, automation, and cloud-based services, software is becoming a key differentiator in print production. We anticipate expanding our evaluation framework in future editions to include more sub-categories for software solutions.
Judging criteria emphasize technical merit, usability, and the value delivered to printers and converters. The Life time Achievement Award is presented to Ferdinand Rüesch, a visionary leader behind the Gallus Group. Over decades, he has shaped the future of label printing through innovation, strategic leadership, and an enduring commitment to the industry. His legacy continues to influence the global packaging sector.
With the 2025 edition now concluded, we extend our congratulations to all winners. The 2026 edition will soon be launched.
