What will Drupa visitors see at Prati’s booth 16 A42? A whole other planet in label and packaging converting and finishing!
In the spotlight is the DIGI COMPACT, a converting and finishing line for self-adhesive labels and digitally printed flexible packaging that, in an extremely compact design (only 3 m of floor space), can process a great many materials and also perform a variety of finishing and ennobling processes. Designed and built to value ergonomics and versatility, it can in fact convert and finish a wide range of products from 12 to 350 microns, switching from self-adhesive paper and plastic labels to heat-shrink and wrap-around labels, with either reel-to-reel, reel-to-sheet or reel-to-label processing. This special feature of the machine reduces the investment risk to zero and also allows entry into new business with minimal expense.
At Drupa DIGI COMPACT will be exhibited in a "roll-to-stack" configuration to finish IML labels, wet glue and stickers. The machine is available in three widths 370, 400 and 450 and has a very high working speed: in semi-rotary 70 m/min and in rotary 200 m/min. Job changeover is minimized as are the consumables needed for the finishing process: in fact, it uses only one glass of varnish, so in addition to being very productive it is also extremely environmentally friendly. Another strong point is the entirely modular design, so each process has its own module: that of unwinding and aligning, rotary and semi-rotary die-cutting module, with slitting and rewinding at the bottom for reel-to-reel applications, and label and sheet collection table at the top for all reel-to-label and sheet-to-sheet applications.
DIGI COMPACT is perfect for the needs of the present and the future also because it implements Futura, the scalable architecture-developed with a view to Industry 4.0 and Industry 5.0, that allows Prati machines to add new functions and options even at a later moment, thus responding to different market needs and protecting the investment over time by saving energy and more. Prati supports the Treedom project of planting trees as compensation for CO2produced, and is ready for the transition to Industry 5.0 to promote environmental sustainability, technological innovation and social inclusion. Cosa potranno vedere i visitatori di drupa allo stand 16 A42 di Prati? Tutto un altro pianeta nella nobilitazione e finishing di etichette e packaging!
Sotto i riflettori la DIGI COMPACT, linea di trasformazione e finitura di etichette autoadesive e di imballaggi flessibili stampati in digitale che, in un design estremamente compatto (solo 3 m di spazio a pavimento), può lavorare tantissimi materiali ed eseguire anche svariati processi di finitura e nobilitazione. Progettata e costruita per dare valore all’ergonomia e alla versatilità, può infatti trasformare e finire un’ampia gamma di prodotti da 12 a 350 micron passando dall’etichetta autoadesiva cartacea e plastica alle etichette termoretraibili e wraparound, con lavorazione sia bobinabobina, sia bobina-foglio o bobinaetichetta. Questa particolarità della macchina riduce il rischio di investimento a zero e permette di entrare anche in nuovi business con una spesa minima.
A drupa DIGI COMPACT sarà esposta in configurazione “roll to stack” per finire etichette IML, wetglue e stickers. La macchina è disponibile in tre larghezze 370, 400 e 450 e ha una velocità di lavoro molto alta: in semi-rotativo 70 m/min e in rotativo di 200 m/min. Il cambio lavoro è ridotto al minimo così come i consumabili necessari per il processo di finitura: utilizza infatti un solo bicchiere di vernice, quindi oltre ad essere molto produttiva è anche estremamente ecosostenibile. Altro punto di forza è la progettazione interamente modulare, per cui ogni processo ha il suo modulo: quello di sbobinatura e allineamento, modulo di fustellatura rotativa e semirotativa, con taglio e ribobinatura nella parte bassa per le applicazioni bobina-bobina e tavolo di raccolta per etichette e fogli nella parte alta per tutte le applicazioni bobina-etichetta e bobina-foglio.
DIGI COMPACT risulta perfetta per le esigenze del presente e del futuro anche perché implementa Futura, l’architettura scalabile - sviluppata in ottica Industry 4.0 ed Industry 5.0- che permette ai macchinari Prati di aggiungere nuove funzioni e optional anche in un secondo momento, rispondendo così alle diverse esigenze di mercato e proteggendo l’investimento nel tempo risparmiando energia e non solo. Prati supporta il progetto TREEDOM, che prevede di piantare alberi come compensazione della CO2 prodotta, ed è pronta alla transizione verso l’industria 5.0 per promuovere la sostenibilità ambientale, l’innovazione tecnologica e l’inclusione sociale.
