Agli Hunkeler Innovationdays 2025 Heidelberg presenterà in anteprima mondiale la soluzione post-stampa nearline Stahlfolder Fireline per una produzione digitale end-to-end flessibile. Inoltre, presenterà il suo ecosistema digitale per la produzione end-to-end basato sulla nuova Jetfire 50.
Le tipografie stanno affrontando la sfida di dover elaborare un numero crescente di tirature brevi in modo efficiente e redditizio. Ciò significa ridurre al minimo gli interventi manuali. L’integrazione della stampa a getto d’inchiostro industriale in un ecosistema digitale è quindi estremamente importante per il mercato della stampa commerciale e per la strategia di crescita di Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG. Il lancio sul mercato del sistema a getto d’inchiostro a foglio Jetfire 50 B3, presentato a drupa 2024, che beneficia di un collegamento alla tecnologia Prinect, sta procedendo secondo i piani. I clienti in Svizzera saranno presto i primi ad avere i loro sistemi installati.
Agli Hunkeler Innovationdays 2025, Heidelberg presenterà il suo ecosistema digitale per la produzione end-to-end basato sul nuovo Jetfire 50. L’azienda si troverà nel padiglione 1 allo stand P2, che condivide con Müller Martini AG. Questa è la prima fiera in cui il sistema verrà presentato nel design Heidelberg. In anteprima mondiale, Heidelberg svelerà anche la soluzione post-stampa nearline Fireline con i modelli Stahlfolder TH 56/66 per la produzione end-to-end automatizzata nella stampa digitale.

Stahlfolder TH 56/66 Fireline per operazioni post-stampa nearline nella stampa digitale consente l’elaborazione altamente automatizzata di fogli stampati digitalmente in un’unica operazione, fino al prodotto finito tagliato e piegato. Taglio, cordonatura e piegatura avvengono tutti in un unico passaggio.
“Nel contesto della stampa industriale, operazioni di post-stampa efficienti e altamente automatizzate sono essenziali se i reparti di produzione devono elaborare un gran numero di ordini altamente diversificati in modo efficiente e garantire la redditività della produzione di stampa digitale. Ciò rende la nostra nuova soluzione di post-stampa Fireline un’aggiunta fondamentale all’ecosistema digitale Heidelberg, portandoci un grande passo avanti verso la produzione di stampa end-to-end,” sottolinea David Schmedding, Chief Technology & Sales Officer di Heidelberg.
Mentre la Stahlfolder TH 56 Fireline è stata sviluppata come soluzione di post-stampa per la Jetfire 50, la Stahlfolder TH 66 Fireline in combinazione con la Jetfire 75 è destinata al formato B2. Heidelberg sta pianificando di presentare la Jetfire 75 nel corso del 2025.
Un’ampia gamma di prodotti stampati
La Stahlfolder TH 56/66 Fireline è completamente integrata nel flusso di lavoro Prinect. Di conseguenza, il sistema può essere preimpostato automaticamente in base ai parametri di lavoro di Prinect e praticamente senza alcun intervento dell’operatore. I programmi standard memorizzati nel sistema coprono un’ampia gamma di prodotti finali diversi. Le possibilità con Jetfire 50 includono poster A3 e A4 ritagliati su tutti e quattro i lati per motivi a piena pagina, opuscoli di quattro pagine (A4 verticale più A5 verticale e orizzontale) e prodotti A6 di otto pagine con piega a fisarmonica, parallela o a lettera.
Per ridurre al minimo il numero di cambi di sistema, Prinect raggruppa ordini simili in lotti e questi lavori vengono quindi completati uno dopo l’altro su Jetfire 50 e Stahlfolder TH 56/66 Fireline. Grazie all’elevato grado di automazione, anche il personale meno qualificato può ottenere risultati professionali e un elevato livello di produttività. Oltre ai programmi standard memorizzati nel sistema, è anche possibile configurare manualmente e salvare programmi personalizzati.

The Hunkeler Innovationdays 2025 will be a key event for Heidelberg: in a world premiere, the company will be unveiling the Stahlfolder Fireline smart nearline postpress solution for flexible digital end-to-end production. Moreover, Heidelberg will be showcasing its digital ecosystem for end-to-end production based on the new Jetfire 50.
Print shops are facing the challenge of having to process a growing number of short runs both efficiently and profitably in their production departments. That means keeping manual interventions to an absolute minimum. Integrating industrial inkjet printing into a digital ecosystem is therefore extremely important for the commercial market and the growth strategy of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG. The market launch of the Jetfire 50 B3 sheetfed inkjet system unveiled at drupa 2024, which benefits from a link to Prinect technology, is going according to plan. Customers in Switzerland are soon to be the first to have their systems installed.
At the Hunkeler Innovationdays 2025, Heidelberg will be showcasing its digital ecosystem for end-to-end production based on the new Jetfire 50. The company can be found in hall 1 at stand P2, which it is sharing with Müller Martini AG. This is the first exhibition at which the system is being presented in the Heidelberg design. In a world premiere, Heidelberg will also be unveiling the Fireline nearline postpress solution with the Stahlfolder TH 56/66 models for automated end-to-end production in digital printing.
World premiere of Stahlfolder TH 56/66 Fireline
The Stahlfolder TH 56/66 Fireline for nearline postpress operations in digital printing enables highly automated processing of digitally printed sheets in a single operation, all the way through to the finished cut and folded print product. Cutting, creasing, and folding all take place in just one pass.
“In the industrial printing context, efficient and highly automated postpress operations are vital if production departments are to process a large number of highly diverse orders efficiently and ensure the profitability of digital print production. That makes our new Fireline postpress solution a key addition to the Heidelberg digital ecosystem, taking us a big step closer to end-to-end print production,” emphasizes David Schmedding, Chief Technology & Sales Officer at Heidelberg.
While the Stahlfolder TH 56 Fireline has been developed as a postpress solution for the Jetfire 50, the Stahlfolder TH 66 Fireline in combination with the Jetfire 75 is intended for the B2 format. Heidelberg is planning to unveil the Jetfire 75 in the course of 2025.
Wide range of different end products covered
The Stahlfolder TH 56/66 Fireline is fully integrated into the Prinect workflow. As a result, the system can be preset automatically based on the job parameters from Prinect and with virtually no operator intervention. The standard programs stored in the system cover a wide range of different end products.
The possibilities with the Jetfire 50 include A3 and A4 posters trimmed on all four sides for full-bleed motifs, four-page pamphlets (A4 portrait plus A5 portrait and landscape), and eight-page A6 products with concertina, parallel, or letter fold. To minimize the number of system changeovers, Prinect groups similar orders into batches, and these jobs are then completed one after the other on the Jetfire 50 and the Stahlfolder TH 56/66 Fireline.
Thanks to the high degree of automation, even less qualified staff can achieve professional results and a high level of productivity. In addition to the standard programs stored in the system, customized programs can also be configured manually and saved.
